I have been accumulating stamps for over 50 years, starting when I was given my grandmother’s cigar box of stamps she’d been saving since the early 1900’s.

I’m not an expert, and in many ways I am still a novice. I learn new things every day. Here, I hope to share some of what I’m learning, and what I’ve learned.
The focus of my collection is US stamps, with a special interest in 1939-1959. Three cent commemoratives is my first love.

A second focus of mine is topical collecting. I collect birds, with a focus on Australia. I also dabble with other topics along the way.
